Mauricie
The Mauricie region (04) is located in the middle of the province, halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, and is bordered to the south by the St. Lawrence River. The region has 40 000 km2 (15 385 sq. mi.) of lakes, mountains and forests, perfect for a vacation in the great outdoors.
