Many years of experience and a top reputation in Anticosti have made Pourvoirie du Lac Geneviève the ideal place to discover what makes the island famous: incredible white-tailed deer hunting coupled with services and accommodations as high in caliber as the spectacular setting they’re in. Our customers have discovered this and most are now regulars who return year after year.
Our outfitting camp is located just 30 minutes from Port-Menier. Each group of hunters is assigned vast and exclusive hunting grounds in our 721 km² (278 sq. mi.) territory. This also ensures absolute hunting peace and safety. For greater success, a professional guide accompanies your group at all times. The average 1.8 deer our hunters have harvested in recent years are proof of the guides’ expertise and the high quality of our hunting grounds, where almost all island habitat types are found.
After a great day in the forest, it’s important to return to quality accommodations. The five cabins at Lac Geneviève and the Pointe-Nord houses offer you the comfort and quality you’re looking for. Bedrooms are comfortable and include bedding (no need to bring sleeping bags). The full bathrooms include showers and come supplied with towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, household products, a BBQ grill, and other items.
