Please note

Located on Anticosti Island, right in the middle of the magnificent Gulf of St. Lawrence, 800 km (500 mi.) east of Montréal, this territory covers more than 1,000 km² (400 sq. mi.) of the southeastern half of the island, including the famous Bell River hunting territory, open for hunting only in the last six weeks of the season. The whole area has an extremely high density of white-tailed deer, and virtually everyone bags the quota. A network of roads and trails provides easy access to all the best spots. The facilities are split between two locations, Chaloupe River and Bell River. Both offer american and european plans, and six or seven days of hunting, with guide service for two, three, or four hunters. The lodges and cottages are all equipped with electricity, hot and cold running water, and showers. The meals, served in the lodges, are of a quality usually associated with fine French cuisine.
