Located 400 km (250 mi.) from Montréal and 160 km (100 mi.) from Maniwaki, halfway between the Réserve faunique La Vérendrye and Clova, Pavillon Wapus is easily accessible by car. This exclusive territory covers 272 km2 (105 sq. mi.) and shelters a good population of moose and bears. If bear ranks as your top priority, we invite you to visit us in the spring. We hunt over 60 baited sites that are carefully set up and visited daily. Our success rate is well over 90%, due to the fact that we take a maximum of 10 hunters per week. In the fall, moose hunters can also be rewarded with a trophy to be proud of. Whether you decide to stay in a well-equipped remote cabin or a cottage at the main lodge, equipped with electricity, indoor toilets, shower and separate rooms, you’re sure to have an exciting outdoor experience.
