Taggart Bay Lodge is located on beautiful Kipawa Lake. Because of the area’s ideal reproduction conditions,
fi sh are plentiful. Hundreds of streams, rivers and natural springs feed the lake year round. While Kipawa Lake is best known for walleye and lake trout, large northern pike are also caught in great numbers every year.
Our cabins are equipped with electricity and feature lights and electric refrigerators. The stoves and hot water heaters operate on gas. Hot and cold running water, fl ush toilets, and bathtub showers are found in every cabin. Pots, pans, and cooking and eating utensils are supplied, as are linens. These cabins are heated with a propane fi replace and can accommodate 2 to 10 people. Each cabin has a dock. Most docks can easily accommodate 4 boats. Our standard 16 ft. fiberglass boats are powered by new and nearly new 15 HP
4-stroke motors. Gas, anchors, and safety necessities are included.
If you prefer to bring your own boat, USD$100/CAD$106 per week will be deducted from the boat owner's
bill but the boat owner must buy or bring fuel for the boat. Fuel is available for purchase on site. Many of
our remote lakes have boats on them. You can take our portable gas motors along with you to these lakes,
secure them to the boat, and away you go. Feel free to bring a canoe, though, for the quietest approach
to fi sh on these remote lakes.
Worms are the most commonly used bait and are included. The fish-cleaning house was recently refurbished. Enjoy a nearly bug-free screened room with multiple sinks and fi sh cleaning stations.
Freezer space is also provided.
