Located only 137 km (85 mi.) from Montréal, Fairmont Kenauk is one of North America’s largest and oldest private fish and game reserve. In the 19th century, this vast 265-km² (104-sq. mi.) private estate, featuring 65 lakes, was established to conserve and protect the wildlife habitat. More than 100 years later, staff biologist continue to ensure the balance and preservation of its spectacular resources. Whether you prefer bass fishing in the scenic grandeur of Papineau Lake, or the tranquil solitude of one of our many trout lakes, your private chalet will feature all amenities, including a full kitchen, hot showers and all linens, so leave your sleeping bags at home. As a destination endorsed by Orvis, you can be sure all our guides are excellent. To ensure your privacy only one fishing party is booked per lake.
